Omelette

Prep Time: 5mins    Cook Time: 10mins    Serves: 1

Ingredients  

  • 4 Eggs

  • 50g Cheddar Cheese (grated)

  • 50g Bacon (cubed)

  • 1/2 Onion (chopped)

  • 3 Mushrooms (sliced)  

  • Chives

 

Method

  • In a large jug, crack the eggs and whisk together with a fork.

  • In a medium sized saucepan, fry the bacon for 5 minutes then add the onions. Once these are cooked, add the mushrooms and fry for a further 2 minutes.

  • Add the whisked eggs and cook until the edges are no longer raw but raw egg still remains on top, then sprinkle over the cheese and cook for a further few minutes.

  • Ease the omelette around the edges then flip in half. It is fully cooked once the bottom of the omelette is a golden brown colour.

  • Put the omelette on a plate to serve.
